Job Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to join our team, in a cross-segment position involved in both Infra and MS. This role requires an in-depth understanding of our infra products and active involvement in ensuring the quality of products received at our warehouse in Vaida, Estonia. The Quality Manager will play a crucial role in identifying, opening, and managing nonconformities (NCs) within our Airfaas system, coordinating with suppliers, and liaising with customers as necessary. In the MS segment, the Quality Manager will be involved in factory quality inspections and follow-ups as well as NC processing as above.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough quality checks and manage the receipt of products at our Vaida warehouse.
• Identify and open NCs in the Airfaas system, ensuring efficient management and resolution.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and customers to gather information and resolve issues.
• Work closely in the Manufacturing Services segment, processing potential NCs from customers and suppliers.
• Understanding the root causes of quality issues and working to build both corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform supplier visits in Estonia for manufacturing progress inspections and address important NCs by visiting clients in Finland, Sweden, and factories in various Baltic countries.
• Collaborate with the part-time Quality Director in leading quality process development.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in quality engineering or relevant quality field.
• Familiarity with the Airfaas system or Claim management systems and experience in handling NCs.
• Strong hands-on experience in manufacturing and quality control processes.
• Ability to conduct supplier audits and quality inspections.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Estonian and English (knowledge of Finnish, Lithuanian or Russian is a plus).
• Willingness to travel as required for supplier visits and client meetings.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a higher education in the technical field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
