Casting is a one the oldest manfacturing methods there is and has been used for thousands of years. Despite that, it is something of a mystery to many. But for us, its an every day part of our business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So we would like to share some deeper insight into cast iron in general and manhole covers in particular. We have compiled an overview of the history of casting, types of casting, production process, as well as inspection and defects. We also opened up part of the elements in the product costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
